Maintenance, Repair and Support Plan

 

There are two types of support offered: 

Service/outsourcing contracts

An 800 number (1-800-938-SCAN) is provided for any support issues. This is provided for the length of time the data is used. This is true for any scanning and CAD conversion products.

Hardware

Support is provided by the manufactures product warrantees. This varies upon each vendor. At worst manufactures provide a 1 year ‘depo’ warranty, or many manufactures provide a 1-5 year on-site warranty.

 

Statement of Guarantee

The contact is Tim Blough – CISV Service Manger at 972-248-SCAN x 2. The hours of technical support are 7:30 – 6:00 pm. All questions, complaints, etc. can be directed to his office.

The warranty on all hardware is the standard manufactures warrenty. Additional on-site or return to depot warrantees are available. This varies depending upon the exact equipment purchased. In addition CAD / CAM SERVICES will continue having parts three (3) years past the manufactures discontinuance.

Conversion to CAD services
Cad / Cam Services is providing the scanning of ‘D’ size engineering / mapping prints into a fully editable / intelligent AutoCAD or MicroStation CAD file. Each converted file will comes back just as if you or I where to redraw the drawing by hand. Text is text, lines are lines, dimensions are dimensions, etc. Quantity 1-10 $ 225.00 per sheet $ 125.00 per sheet

  Ideal provide special government pricing; normally this is provided 25% off. Their large format scanners retail from $ 12,500 to $ 26,000 25% off
