The CS range of aperture card scanners is designed for higher volume production scanning, with the top of the range CS750 capable of scanning 750 cards per hour. Also available are large input hoppers, multiple output hoppers and automatic production tools to maximise throughout and productivity.

Each Scanstation is supplied with our versatile Windows based SCANCARD software for maximum user control coupled with either SMARTCODE or SMARTSCAN, our latest imaging technology designed to produce the ultimate in image quality.

Key advantages:

  • Automated 500 card horizontal input hopper for simple loading and reliable card feed.
  • Smartscan, the Wicks and Wilson designed 12-bit image processing system for microfilm, provides real-time control of on-board advanced imaging tools for both bitonal and 256-level greyscale imaging.
  • Hollerith (punch data) automatically read and used to select drawing sizes and create file names if required.
  • Robust and proven mechanical design, for reliable operation during extended production runs.
  • Production tools include manual rotation, framing, cropping and deskew as well as automatic log file generation.

Optional production tools maximise the efficiency and productivity of the scanner:

  • Auto deskew and centring straightens and repositions the drawing prior to saving
  • Multi Scan enables a single card to be automatically rescanned using up to five different imaging templates
  • Greyscale provides a 256 level output, giving the best results from poor quality cards
  • DMP (Digital Microfilm Printing) offers a simplified user screen featuring digital zoom and review before printing; interfaces to any printer or plotter with a Windows- certified driver
